£ 130.00

Practical training sessions are available both in-house and via video call.

During this course you will master the art of providing a safe and effective massage experience for expectant mothers. Rooted in a deep understanding of the unique physiological and emotional changes experienced during pregnancy, this course offers an holistic approach to pregnancy (pre-natal) massage, focusing on techniques that promote relaxation, relieve discomfort, and enhance the overall wellbeing of both mother and baby.

You will learn a variety of massage techniques, specifically tailored to pregnancy, including gentle strokes, kneading, and pressure point therapy. From understanding the anatomical changes of the pregnant body to mastering positioning and draping techniques for maximum comfort and safety, you will gain hands-on experience through every aspect of pregnancy massage. Additionally, you will learn how to address common pregnancy-related issues such as back pain, swelling, sciatica, and insomnia, providing relief and support to expectant mothers.

By promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and alleviating physical discomfort, pregnancy massage can help improve sleep quality, reduce anxiety and depression, and enhance overall emotional wellbeing.

Pre-requisites: Massage, Anatomy & Physiology Level 3
Upon successful completion of this training programme (accredited by ABT – Associated Beauty Therapists), you will be awarded a certification, allowing you to practice pregnancy (pre-natal) massage professionally
