The extraction of Moroccan argan oil is a meticulous process that combines traditional methods with modern techniques to ensure the highest quality and purity.

The process begins with the collection of argan fruits, which are typically harvested by hand from the argan trees. These fruits are then dried in the sun to facilitate the removal of the outer flesh.

Once dried, the argan nuts are cracked open to extract the kernels. Traditionally, this step was done by hand, using stones to break the hard shells. However, in modern times, it is done by machinery.

The kernels are then ground into a paste and cold-pressed to extract the oil without the use of heat. The extracted oil is then filtered to remove any impurities, resulting in pure, high-quality argan oil.
