Our prickly pear is sourced directly from the sun-drenched landscapes of Morocco, and produced in our family-owned cooperative.

Prickly pear is one of the most highly prized ingredients in skincare – and for good reason. Obtained by cold-pressing the seeds from the pulp of the prickly pear cactus, this oil is packed with essential nutrients, including vitamins E and K, fatty acids (omega-6 and omega-9), antioxidants (including polyphenols and phytosterols), tocopherols and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and zinc. The process of producing prickly pear begins with the careful hand-picking of prickly pear fruits from the cactus. These fruits are then peeled to reveal the seeds, which are separated and sun-dried.

Once dried, the seeds undergo a cold-press extraction method, preserving their rich nutrients and ensuring the oil remains pure and potent.

This labour-intensive process, carried out by our family-owned cooperative in Southern Morocco, guarantees that every drop of oil is packed with antioxidants, vitamins E and K, and essential fatty acids.

Harvested using sustainable practices that respect both the environment and the local communities, our oil supports ethical farming.

Usage


    • Apply a few drops of prickly pear seed oil to the face & neck (morning & evening) after cleansing. Prickly pear seed oil makes an ideal base for make-up and a hydrating, wrinkle busting oil for a nourishing night-time treat. Massage in small circular movements under the eyes to improve the appearance of dark circles.
